Aerospace Engineering in India

Aerospace Engineering in India is the engineering branch that deals with the design, development and manufacturing of spacecraft, aircraft and other flying vehicles and systems. It combines the knowledge of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and material science to design, develop and improve the efficiency, performance and safety of aerospace system. They are responsible for developing new design, improve the  existing design and making the aerospace flights as safe as possible.

Demand of Aerospace Engineering

The demand of Aerospace Engineering in India is growing rapidly due to the government initiative of  “Make in India” scheme. As the government is investing Hugh amount of money in Aerospace sector which has led to open multiple jobs for the aerospace engineers. Every year 3.5K Aerospace engineer graduate in India among them around 65% get the placement. Seeing the current trends it is estimated that the aerospace engineering is going to increase by 5 to 10% per years in the coming decades.

Cost of Aerospace Engineering

The cost of studying Aerospace Engineering in India depends upon the various factors such as the institution you study, its location, courses duration etc. Studying in the government funded university can costs up to 2 Lakh to 4 Lakh per year whereas studying in the private funded university can costs up to 3 Lakh to 10 Lakh per year . Other expenses include Food & Accommodation, Travel expenses, Reading material expenses & other Miscellaneous expenses.
